Reading
RG1–RG31The county town and the heart of the Thames Valley tech corridor. Town-centre flats and converted offices, Victorian terraces in the older suburbs, and the big business parks — Green Park, Thames Valley Park, Reading International — where the office moves cluster. The M4 and the A33 shape every job.
Slough
SL1–SL3A dense, working town with the Slough Trading Estate at its core — one of Europe’s largest — so commercial and warehouse moves sit alongside the terraces and flats. The M4, the A4 and the Elizabeth line make it well-connected, and busy on the ground.
Bracknell
RG12 / RG42A new-town layout of estates, business parks and the regenerated town centre. Corporate HQs and tech offices mean plenty of business relocations, while the residential moves are post-war semis and newer developments off the A329(M).
Windsor
SL4Affluent and period — Georgian and Victorian townhouses, riverside flats and the streets around the Castle and the Long Walk. Conservation-area access, narrow historic lanes and high-value contents mean careful, planned moves rather than rushed ones.
Maidenhead
SL6A prosperous Thames-side commuter town, transformed by the Elizabeth line. Riverside houses and new apartment blocks by the station, family homes in the suburbs, and a steady stream of London-out moves as people trade the city for the Thames Valley.
Newbury, Wokingham & Ascot
RG14 / RG40 / SL5The market towns and the affluent west of the county. Newbury’s Georgian centre and surrounding villages, Wokingham’s commuter streets, and Ascot’s large detached houses and gated homes — rural access, gravel drives and period properties are all part of the day.
