Berkshire is a county of contrasts — the busy M4-corridor towns, the tech-corridor business parks, the affluent Thames-side, the western market towns. A mover who only knows one of them will be caught out by the others. We built Berkshire Removals to cover all of it properly: to know the permit bays of Reading and the conservation lanes of Windsor equally well.

What we do

Home moves are the bulk of it — everything from a Slough flat to an Ascot house, with packing, dismantling and protection as standard. Businesses come to us for office and commercial relocations across the tech corridor, planned around trading. There is man and van for the smaller jobs, storage for when dates slip, and a European arm for moves abroad.

County-wide, done properly

We are a county firm, not a one-town outfit that stretches. Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Windsor, Maidenhead, Newbury, Wokingham, Ascot — plus the villages between — are all part of the everyday map, and cross-county moves are our bread and butter. We plan each as its own job, because a riverside townhouse and a trading-estate unit could not be more different.

How we work

A survey first, in person or by video, so nothing is guessed. A clear, itemised written quote with no numbers plucked from the air. Protection on the goods and the property. And a crew who turn up when they say they will and treat your things like their own. That is the whole promise — kept move after move.

The plain-dealing bit

We do not show prices on the site because an honest removals price depends on your specifics — volume, distance, access, stairs, parking, storage. Anyone quoting a headline figure sight unseen is guessing. Tell us about the move and you will get a real quote you can plan around. Start with the quote form or get in touch.
